Adjustment disorders can leave you feeling anxious, sad, hopeless, and irritable. Anxiety feels like a lot of worry, dread, or fear. Social anxiety can cause you to worry about being watched by others which leads to avoiding social situations. Each can leave you feeling nervous, self-conscious, and embarrassed, even in safe situations. Therapy can help you understand your emotions, process change, and develop coping tools so you can start living a more fulfilled life.

Substance abuse or addictions can be a challenging experience that affects you; and the people around you who become Codependent. Codependency can also develop from Caretaking others. The struggle may start with a rising tolerance to what was once an occasional activity, mood swing, or relationship difficulty and is now out of control. It’s also common to feel shame, guilt, and a sense of disconnection from others and yourself.
